Merry Christmas – Our Christmas Day Special is Engineered Oak Wood Flooring, available from Flooring Direct

On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… The brushed and oiled Engineered Oak wood flooring Christmas comes and goes and it seems to roll around again too quickly, each time with new trends, fashions and gadgets.

If you’re looking for a timeless floor, a floor that is durable enough to last an exceptional amount of time then you won’t need to look any further our Allona Solid Oak Flooring. This flooring will showcase knots, mineral streaks and imperfections in the wood.

This makes it extremely popular as it showcases the characteristic charms when purchasing wood flooring. We don’t just cut the oak and leave it there though, we go much further. Once the timber has been processed and cut into planks a wire brush is used on the surface of each piece to remove only the softer grain.

This creates a textured, natural feel and looks to each plank. When the brushing process is finished up to seven costs of hard wax oil is applied to the surface.

An additional benefit of purchasing a ‘brushed’ product is that the brushed design makes it near impossible for any scratches to become noticeable given the fact that their surface area is already textured which makes it perfect when used in homes with pets and small children.

You know that this floor will look great, and with as we source only the best timber we can give you a manufacturers guarantee for 25 years. Amazing flooring is little without peace of mind, that’s why Flooring Direct make sure you have both.
