Plus, we can do that simply by assisting you to make the right choices.

Why vinyl flooring though?

Vinyl flooring would be great for your office because not only is it presentable, it is also durable. As a start up, you’ll be wanting to attract the best candidates. You will also want to be able to show your clients around. With heavy footfall, you’ll need a durable floor for sure. That’s what vinyl flooring can do for you, especially if you get it from Flooring Direct. At a cost friendly price and nice looking, some lino is exactly what you need for a brand new office.

It can also be laid anywhere, and by most people. If you want to save costs whilst spending money on other aspects of your business, vinyl floors are great. They can go over existing floors, providing thickness and cover which also helps keep the heat in. Furthermore, you don’t have to hire a skip or storage to dispose of your old flooring, you can just lay it over the top.

Any examples of using it?

Well, there are plenty. Not only in the UK, but across the world, lino flooring has been used to convert dusty old rooms into brand new features. Vinyl flooring, alongside artificial grass, particularly took off during the COVID years. People were using it to do up their garden sheds when converting them into a bar. Others were redesigning their playrooms, bedrooms and living rooms to ensure that everybody was settled whilst being stuck inside.

Some offices have been converted from old beauty salons, and vinyl flooring played a vital part in this. In fact, one example included a customer ordering some samples from our store, choosing their favourite vinyl, and then bulk buying and receiving a hefty discount on delivery! Flooring Direct have asked for pictures when it is done, and we can’t wait to see them. We’ll be sure to share them on our social media pages.

Are vinyl floors safe?

The quick answer is yes. The technology involved in manufacturing vinyl floors has increased so much in recent years. It is no longer as bad for the environment as it once was, and the designs are a lot prettier. There is a lot less toxicity around, plus they are a lot cleaner than they used to be.

Furthermore, vinyl flooring also provides a soft landing for children to play on. If someone bumps their head or falls over, then the vinyl shouldn’t cause too many issues (obviously there are caveats), but on the whole, it is relatively safe, especially compared to floors like laminate flooring and hard wooden flooring.
