In light of the current awful situation with coronavirus, we felt it necessary to address the situation. In these uncertain times we wanted to reassure you that at Flooring Direct, our number one priority is the safety and well-being of our customers and team members. Please see below the following details which are being monitored on a daily basis.
With the safety of our employees, team members and customers at the forefront of our minds, we are requesting that you bare with us if you experience any slight delays in responses to your messages or delivery of your order. We know these are stressful times for all of us but we will not tolerate abuse to our staff who are working constantly to ensure that you receive your order and help those who are in self-isolation.
We are continuing to adhere to the latest advice and instructions regarding COVID-19.

Currently, as of the start of April, orders are being delivered, though due to the strains on Royal Mail and couriers, you may experience some extended delivery times. There are some local restrictions are in force meaning your order may see delays. Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19). It is understood that these types of viruses don't survive long on objects such as letters or parcels.

The health and well-being of our staff are of the utmost importance to us and we have had to make changes to our working practices so please bear with us if there are delays to our response times.

As an online business, our website is still fully functional and we are still open for business. You can still order your flooring and we’ll get it to you as soon as we’re able to. We are operating with the aim of our delivery times being up between two and three weeks, but please do be aware that you may experience delays and we do apologise for the inconvenience in this difficult time. Our customer service team are working around the clock to ensure that they try and keep all of our customers updated with any delays or cancellations.
Our website is functioning 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for orders.
Our customer service team is available on 0800 6444 581 (Mon-Fri 9-5). They will be able to answer queries regarding refunds etc, but at this time will not be able to take orders over the phone. Please be patient as we are experiencing an unusually high number of phone calls and messages at this time.
We are however placing their safety and that of our couriers and customers as the utmost priority.
Our distribution team are still working but under enhanced safety measures to ensure we continue to get your orders out within the stated time limits. Again, to ensure the safety of our employees and customers, please do be aware that your order may experience slight delays.
We are facing delays in both the warehouse and couriers due to the coronavirus safety procedures. We are currently dispatching orders from our system, even if they haven’t left yet to provide you with your tracking information so you can see when your order has left our warehouse and is with the couriers.
We are experiencing a severe delay with orders currently due to having to implement the 2-metre social distancing rule in the warehouse which is slowing down our order creation. We very much appreciate your patience in this time and please keep an eye on the tracking information provided. Rest assured we are doing all we can to get your order to you as soon as possible.
